Mastering the Basics: Beginner to Intermediate Pottery Wheel
If you want to start learning the pottery wheel with a solid foundation, or if you need help getting your basics mastered (or remastered after a hiatus), this class is for you!
In this 6-week class, we’ll break down and study in depth each fundamental step of making successful wheel thrown pottery. We will work through common beginner difficulties and learn through repetition.
Our 6th class will be a glazing workshop that will allow students to get a crash course in glazing basics and to finish their ware for firing after the workshop.
When: 6 Saturdays; April 5 - May 10; 9.30am - Noon
What to Bring: Students provide their own clay. Clay may be purchased at the Arts Council prior to class.
Includes: Community glazes and firings are included.
Registration Fee: $200 (Open Studio members, $150)
