Paper Marbling
with Anne Murray

On Saturday, October 5th, join or bring your friends for a fun- and art-filled Saturday at the Arts Council!
Experience the magic of marbling - an art form that involves floating paint and creating patterns for unique prints. Instructor Anne Murray supplies all materials and guarantees you will have fun and create beautiful papers that you can hang as they are or use in other art projects - collage, card making, gift boxes, and more!
In this day-long class, Anne will introduce participants to the marbling process, touching on the highlights of this centuries-old artform, and then guiding the class through the steps of creating their own beautiful papers.

More about Anne

She acquired these skills from several notable arts and crafts schools including the John Campbell Folk School (Brasstown, NC), the Penland School of Crafts (Penland, NC), and the Sawtooth School for Visual Art (Winston-Salem, NC).
