Saturday Activities for Children

 

Saturday, November 20 (2.00-3.30pm)

Winter Pop-up Scene: Create a winter pop-up scene with TC Arts Board Member, Caren Stewart. All materials will be provided. Registration is appreciated, but drop-ins are also welcome. (Ages 5-10; children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent.)

Saturday, November 27 and December 4 (2.00-3.30pm)

Holiday Ornament Workshop: In this 2-session workshop, you'll create a clay holiday ornament the first Saturday. We'll fire the ornaments in the kiln, and the second Saturday you'll have fun decorating your ornament. Don't dress up - you're sure to get messy! Your $15 registration fee will help TC Arts support these fun activities. This workshop will be led by Sommer Owen, Ceramics Studio Manager and Artist-in-Residence at TC Arts. Enrollment is required; limit 10.  (Ages 6-12)

Saturday, December 18 (2.00-3.30pm) - NEW DATE!

Snowman Sock Figure: Come and enjoy this inter-generational workshop. Create a snowman using tube socks as a starting point.  White tube socks and lots of fun yarn, ribbons, buttons, pompoms etc. will be provided. Please bring a colorful sock to cut up for clothing, and feel free to bring other supplies, especially a glue gun, if you have one! Children under 8 need to enroll with a helper. This workshop will be led by TC Arts Board President, Cindy Rehm. Your $15 registration fee will help TC Arts support these fun activities.  Enrollment is required; limit 14.

Saturday, December 18 (2.00-3.30pm)

Jewelry Making: Join Number 7 Arts artist, Sonia Arnold, for a fun workshop where you will create a bracelet or wrap ring. All supplies will be provided. Your $15 registration fee will help TC Arts support these fun activities. Enrollment is required; limit 10.  (Ages 10-14)
